Dewatering system for an open pit mine in Ontario. This project consists of four mobile pumping stations. In each of these units are three sections; the first includes a multi-stage Technojet MH200-250 / 4 700HP pump with a capacity of approximately 600 m3 / h, the second consists of an electrical room with a VFD and the third contains a 25000 kV transformer at 600 V. The stations installed in series allow a dewatering that follows the progress in depth of the mine.
Dewatering a mine with 21 pumps, including control pannels, discharge piping and valves with flowmeters. This major project calculates a total of 31 000 USGPM and 500ft TDH (Total discharge head).
Design and manufacture a Technojet powered by a Caterpillar diesel engine for emergency power outage. This system of emergency pumping includes: Metal base with diesel tank incorporated, the diesel motor and a centrifugal clutch allowing the diesel engine to start vacuum in order for the pump to start only with a certain speed of rotation.
Technosub was mandated to dewater a pit from a client in Quebec. We provided two complete pumping stations and a power station of 40 feet each, in which five Grundfos 1100S2500-6 submersible 250HP pumps and three 600HP Technojet MH200-250 / 3 pumps are installed. After only 3 days of operation, the system had to be stopped because there was no more water in the pit!
