MX Series
Subteck submersible motors are three-phase asynchronous motors featuring a short circuit rotor.
Designed as wet-running motors with a watertight insulated winding, these motors are rewindable and adhere to the NEMA standard for an 8-inch motor connection. The bearings are lubricated by a motor filling comprising glycerine and water, providing biodegradability and anti-freeze protection down to -25 °C, with the option to replace it with pure drinking water. Axial down thrust is managed by an axial thrust bearing with individual tilting pads, while high-quality mechanical seals encapsulate the motors. A reliable balance system ensures pressure compensation between the motor and its environment. These motors are suitable for horizontal and diagonal positions based on nominal power, operating in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions. Their high efficiency guarantees minimal operating costs, and Subteck provides a comprehensive supply of control and monitoring equipment for all their motors.

Frequency Transformer Operation
Every Subteck motor is usable for frequency transformer operations, but following recommendations should be considered:
-
-
-
- Frequency transformer must be conform to the nominal currency of the submersible motor;
- Maximal working range from 30 Hz up to 60 Hz, corresponding speed from 1.740 up to 3.460 1/min;
- Using of a sine-wave generator protects against high voltage peaks;
- Minimum rate of flow must be 10% of the nominal rate of flow of the pump.
-
-
Soft Starter Operation
Soft starters are very qualified to start a submersible motor. They grant:
-
-
- Reducing of starting current;
- Avoidance of water hammer while starting causing switch-off of the pump.
